Growing Grid Capacity and Resilience

"Following a successful pilot, National Grid installed LineVision’s Dynamic Line Rating system on four transmission lines in our New York region. The system is now operational and providing automated, condition-specific line ratings to our transmission control room. Dynamic Line Ratings are a start to helping us make decisions on how to plan and operate the grid, further unlocking renewables and reducing transmission congestion for New Yorkers."
