Dynamic Line Ratings with Network-Wide Reach

Our network-wide DLR solution leverages machine learning, advanced wind modeling and sensor enhancement to rapidly deliver full network visibility, unlocking value across operations and planning.

Built on years of field sensor data, our industry-leading methodology uses advanced, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling with digital twins created from utility-provided data. Our CFD-powered approach accounts for all localized terrain, vegetation, and structures to build hyper-accurate wind models to 30m resolution. We rapidly deliver operational-grade DLR across the entirety of transmission networks, and our solution can be further enhanced by strategically deployed sensors to improve ratings accuracy and deliver maximum visibility where and when it is needed most.

Hyperlocal Right-of-way Sensing

‍Our integrated grid intelligence solution is powered by next-generation RS-1 sensors which gather continuous, hyperlocal data to monitor conditions around critical transmission rights-of-way (ROW). The data provided by these intelligent edge devices powers our Situational Awareness solution and enhances the accuracy of our Dynamic Line Ratings. The RS-1 packs multiple sensors in one tower-mounted device that rapidly installs without touching conductors or the need for outages.

Advanced Situational Awareness

Utilities face the difficult task of maintaining thousands of circuit miles, including remote spans that may be difficult for ground crews to reach, in a cost-effective way. Our Situational Awareness solution enables continuous transmission line and ROW monitoring, providing utilities with real-time information on the physical health and environmental conditions affecting transmission infrastructure. Combining advanced sensing of environmental conditions, conductor and ROW monitoring, and automatic hazard detection and alerts, our Situational Awareness solution helps utilities mitigate physical risks to operationally critical transmission assets.
